I am so excited to share in more detail the project I did for Lucky Spool’s new book, Scraps, Inc. It was such a great day when I was asked to be part of this book. The other contributors are so talented and I was incredibly flattered to be included in the group. The project mission was pretty simple – design a quilt project that was scrap based. As an avid quilter, I am pretty used to having lots and lots of scraps, so book designed to help use them up was all right by me. So I know it’s a been a couple weeks since Fall Quilt Market, but I just wanted to share with you some of the activities I was able to partake in. This last Quilt Market I had a LOT going on. It was so much fun! I did my very first Schoolhouse, which is a half hour presentation about my book and did a video tutorial on two of my Sew A Modern Home projects, the Starburst pillow and the dining room napkin, for Brewer, which will be up on YouTube in the next month or so.
