  1. wow.
    everything is awesome

  2. My daughter who is a beginner sewer is interested in making this quilt. I am an experienced quilter, and could help her. How hard is it?

    • sorry, your Star Gaze quilt. It’s beautiful. All your quilts are.

  3. I just wanted to say how much I admire your work. The number of quilt patterns on the Internet is utterly overwhelming but yours really stand out – such lovely clean designs, great fabric choices – I’m so impressed. I will be popping over to your etsy store but just had to say first how impressed I am. Thank you for sharing your work.
    Sincerely,
    Kate from Melbourne, Australia

  4. Dear Melissa, I live in South Africa and am interested in making your “Love at Sea” quilt for my only grandson. He lives far away in Holland and his little brother was still born earlier this year. As I’m not very tech savy I was very proud of myself for managing to order the fabric from Fabricworm online but now that I have it I see that I shall also have to purchase a back copy of Quilt Trends Spring 2014 to get the pattern.

That was a huge shock given the fall of the South African rand, the exhorbitant customs levy and the postage.

I’m asking if there is any tutorial on utube or something on this quilt or any other hints as to how to put it together. Kindest regards Denise Peters
I’m not an experienced quilter so I can’t work it out for myself.

  5. I bought your Happy Trails pattern last week, and I’m going to make it with the Birch Organics Feather River fabric. I recently got the Eiko design fabric, and now I know which pattern I will use, the Tatami Mat. Great designs.
